Our Pastor: Norman S. Lao

Pastor Norms, as he is fondly called by church folks, is a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of San Agustin (1990), has finished a Computer Programming course at STI-Iloilo (1990), is the eldest of five siblings born to Nestor Lao and Nora Sison and has been a pastor of the Living Rock Church since 1992 to the present. He trained under Central Institute of Missions (CIM), an Assemblies of God Bible School, from 1994-1998 and completed his academics for his Master of Divinity degree at the College of Theology of Central Philippine University in 2007.

He received God's call for full-time ministry while he was working as a Campus Worker for the Agape Campus Missions back in 1987. After four years of productive ministry, he was ordained into full-time pastoral ministry in 1996. He currently oversees all the ministries of the Living Rock Church which includes three thriving outreach churches located in Guimaras, Pavia and Maasin.

Pastor Norman's passion is to see people won to Christ, discipled and trained fro ministry.  He is also passionate about planting church planting churches, believing that this is the most effective way of fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ (Matthew 28:16-20).
